Who flooded the Bentley Posted by Hello

Its been wet in the Forest!

It has rained all day. Rain does not bother the dogs and we have had two walks as usual, but no camera with me today. I have posted an amusing picture that Gill took yesterday of Bentley a Golden Retriever we sometimes meet in the Forest. I guess the rain would not have bothered him today!

Signs of Spring

On Sunday we put the clocks forward and we are now on British Summer Time.
I have just seen Britt Arnild's pictures of the snow melting in her Norwegian garden.
So I thought I would post some spring pictures.

Ashley Walk

Easter saturday
Its a beautiful spring day. England is playing a football match so John is glued to the TV but the dogs and I have come out for a walk with Gill and Dora. The carpark is full but once we have walked for a few minutes the dogs can play. There is a litte stream here so they can cool off and have a drink.

Hampton Ridge and Latchmore Brook walk

Well there is our walk in pictures. I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.The walk took us about 90 minutes and lunch was delicious! By the end of the walk we could see patches of blue sky and it was warm enough to sit in the pub garden to eat lunch. It was a special treat to come across that baby donkey as we drove home.

As we drove away from the pub we saw this cute little chap with the Big Ears! Posted by Hello

The walk book says that The Foresters Arms is one of the oldest pubs in the New Forest. Posted by Hello
