Two Sunny Walks

This morning we went to Cadmans pool for a walk. The trees are only just beginning to change colour. We walked along the stream and then we went up into the woods. There is a piece of tree here that looks like a little deer sitting down and I managed to take a photo. Just after this we heard a Buck calling as the Rut is starting. We saw a few does running through the trees but they didn't seem very impressed with the calls of the Buck and maybe they were waiting for a better display.
This afternoon John wanted to start dismantling the vegetable plot so I met Bob and Gill at Slufters pond. We had a very pleasant walk and with the sun on our backs we soon warmed up.
Dora and Missy had a wonderful time chasing sticks but Raffles conserved his energy (fortified by biscuits) until we were out on the top and he could chase the bunnies.
We watched a couple of Buzzards flying overhead before returning to the car. We had to put our sunglasses on as we were dazzled by the brightness of the Clean car belonging to Bob and Gill!
