Today when we awoke, it was very misty and frosty. As we drove to the forest the sun was out and we could see the mist rising off the fields. We chose to stop atBramble Hill carpark. This is one of the higher points in the forest and we could see Southampton in the distance rising out of the mist.There are plenty of big puddles are all the rain and the water was iced over in places but very clear. We could see beautiful reflections. The dogs did not want to go in the water that much. They were happy to chase a small group of deer through the trees, but they soon came back and we saw the deer again in the distance.
