This afternoon a friend of mine opened her garden to the public in aid of charity. Sadly her niece died earlier this year after a long battle with Melanoma. She was only 37 and a young family has been left without a mother. Very little is know about Melanoma but it is one of the fastest spreading Cancers and the incidence in the UK is doubling every 10 Years. More research is needed to make people more aware of this cancer and to hopefully find a successful treatment.
When we arrived at the garden two buzzards were circling overhead and we had a beautiful sunny afternoon, possibly the warmest of the year so far. The garden is open again tomorrow and hopefully it will be another beautiful day.Although the bright sunshine made it a little difficult to take good pictures, I hope you enjoy walking around this beautiful garden with us.
