Back to Slufters Pond.

After a night of rain we went back to the pond today. It still appears to be shrinking and we are going to need a lot more rain before the leveals begin to rise. We will not be walking here for a little while as the diggers have moved into the enclosure and it looks as if they will be working here for a while. We are not sure what they are doing but with several bits of machinery working it is easy to walk elsewhere. The Heather is in full flower now and we walked through great patches of purple. Back at the pond Missy found a big stick which she decided to rush past us with giving us bruises on our legs. Ouch Missy that hurt!
