A little grey at Millyford

We have been having some rather dull grey days . Today looked promising as I sat in the traffic jam(a gas leak) on the way to the forest, but by the time we got there the sun had gone back behind the clouds.
As we walked near the little bridge we disturbed a big herd of fallow bucks, they ran around for several minutes coming back towards us before they finally disappeared.They moved too quickly to get any decent photos but we got some very good views of them, before we continued our walk. We walked along the banks of Highland water for a while , before returning to the track and making our way back to the car park.
