A visit to the Aquarium
We spent an afternoon at the Vancouver Aquarium. It is one of the largest Aquariums in North America and has some spectacular exhibits. It is Canada's most popular tourist attraction west of Toronto and it was very busy.
Some of the Beluga whales that we played with on our previous visit are still there although sadly the baby Tuvaq died .
Spinnaker the dolphin now has three pals and the sea otter breeding programme is going well.
For me the best exhibits were the starfish, jellyfish and the sea plants. The colours are so beautiful.
However one feels about the keeping of animals in captivity, for many this is the only chance to see them .
