On Sunday we drove down to Compton Acres to have a walk round the gardens. it is a while since we have been and we noticed a lot of changes. They have built a large function room at the entrance. There are a series of linked gardens each with a different theme. It was rather cloudy at times , but it stayed dry.

Wow, it seems almost tropical with the palm trees and pink flowers!
I am coming to England tomorrow Mary, though again to Lindisfarne. The Forest have to wait.

I have always been amazed by the palm trees in England--I remember seeing the area around the beach at Hastings and having to double-take.
