After a few wet and windy days the forest floors are covered in autumn leaves. When the leaves are wet the colours are more intense. The little stream here is called Highland water and now it is flowing well as it fills up for the winter. There were several places where the dogs could swim.
As we walked up the hill away from the river we saw a beautiful herd of fallow deer skipping away in the distance.
