The day after the clocks went back.

Last night we put the clocks backan hour as we prepare for winter. I would rather we stayed on BST through the winter. I hate it when it starts to get dark early and would rather have darker mornings.
This morning it was raining and John took the dogs for a morning walk, but shortly after lunch the rain cleared and we went for an afternoon walk at Canadian Cross. The paths are very muddy from recent rain. The leaves will soon have fallen from the trees......they seem to have been reluctant to fall this year but all of a sudden down they are coming. As we got towards the end of our walk we met Bob, Gill and Dora so we went round again.
By the time we got back to the carpark we could see the sun setting on the horizon.

I prefer darker mornings over such a short day of light. The dogs were confused this morning & woke an hour early (5:30 AM--ugh) wanting to play & 'talk'.
