Getting Lost at Pigbush

Today Gill came for lunch and then we put the dogs in her car and went to Pigbush carpark. We use to walk here a lot several years ago but since Gill moved we hardly ever come here. It was a very overcast day but warm. The paths were wet after overnight rain but we set off happily and crossed the causeway over the bog. The dogs soon found some water to play in and then we went into one of the enclosures. We cold hear a buck roaring and eventually got a view but I only had the small camera with me so did not get a good picture. When we came out of the enclosure we meandered through the trees until we came to a little bridge that led straight into a bog. Realising we couldn't go that way (Just as well because it was the wrong direction!) We tried to walk through the heather up the slope to get a better view but it was hard work and eventually we gave up and retraced our steps. Luckily we found a walker who was able to put us on the right track and we were able to find the car. The dogs had a good time and we enjoyed walking somewhere different.
