last autumn we decided to remove our vegetable garden. So we took the little fence down and then we waited until spring. In the last couple of weeks we have been busy re doing the garden.
Two tons of gravel later and it is finally taking shape. It is looking a little different now. The gravel will hopefully keep the weeds down and help the soil to retain moisture. Hopefully the plants will gradually spread out and the flowers will add some colour. Right now we have a beautiful little flowering cherry in bloom.

What a lovely garden, Mary! I love so much these photos. Very cozy and
charming. Love the bench, too. How nice to seat and to take a cup of tea or read a book, looking the dogs playing around!
