Happy Easter.
Today we walked at PigBush. The forest is very busy and the carpark was full when we arrived, but it was just starting to rain and many people were packing up to leave.
We met very few people on our walk. As we walked towards the causeway we stopped to admire a little foal. He allowed me to take one photo before deciding it was snack time. The skies were fall of dark clouds as we walked and for a few minutes light rain fell but the sun continued to try and peek through. We did not really get wet. By the stream there were some wood anenomes flowering. I really like these delicate flowers. Unfortunately they wer on the other side of the stream and it was too deep to wade acroos to get a better picture.
I really enjoy the spring watching the wild flowers appear. Wood ananomes are among the first and I have seen some primroses on the road side. Soon we will have violets and orchids and then the bluebells. Hopefully I will get some photos.
