A beautiful day for a walk.
Today was just beautiful. On Tuesday we were wearing coats and gloves so today it was good to go out without coats. This morning I took the dogs to Busketts for their morning stoll and we went down to the river. Although the car park was full we didn't meet anyone. After a mid morning nap in the garden we met Gill and Dora at Bratley View and sauntered down to the little stream, where we sat a while and let the dogs play in the stream. There were lots of primroses along the banks . Just before we left the stream Missy found a whole leg of deer so we meandered up the hill to the sound of clanking bones! By the time she lost interest about half an hour later only a small piece remained the rest having gradually fallen by the wayside. When we got back to the stream we sat again and the dogs cooled down before we climbed the hill watched by a small herd of deer and a few more ponies. The gorse is in full bloom now and so the forest is full of bright yellow bushes and when the sun is on it, the air is filled with the smell of coconut. As we got back to the car the skies were cloudy, but it was still pleasantly warm. We really enjoyed the walk but alas tomorrow the forecast is for rain!

I'm glad you had such a good day and took so many photographs to show us. Happy dogs, sweet foals, glowing flowers (more primroses - lovely!), and beautiful scenery.
