After a night of heavy rain , we had a pleasant walk in wintry sunshine. The forest seemed rather busy and when we arrived at Shatterford carpark we realised that they were getting ready for the Pony sales, these take place four or five times a year.
We set off on our walk and enjoyed the scenery. Missy was glad to be out i the forest after her visit to the vets yesterday for scans to check her bladder and try to resolve her continuing cystitis problem. After a two hour walk we came back to find the car park backed and parking on the forest as the pony sales were now in full swing. The sales are not widely advertised and we were a little surprised at just how busy they were. We did not go to investigate further with the dogs as it was so crowded.
