The end of another month.

The year seems to have flown by and it is hard to believe that it is the end of November already. it is still very mild for the time of year, but also very wet and muddy in the forest. The last week has been very wet and although it was dry today it was misty and damp. At times we were knee deep in mud on our walk and the dogs needed to wash their paws when we got back to the stream at the end of our walk. Whilst we were walking through the inclosures today we came a cross a lot of small christmas trees. They are not ready for harvesting et but every year the Forestry commission sells Christmas trees to the public. The signs are already up and sales will begin this weekend. We will wait a couple of weeks before getting ours.
