Drizzly Morning at Pigbush

After the sunshine of yesterday evening it was disappointing to walk in drizzle this morning and as soon as we got home the sun came out! On our walk we saw a herd of deer in the distance and we also had several glimpses of a heron flying! Down by the little stream we met a group of inquisitive calves , one even gave Missy a Kiss, she was very quiet and was as interested in them as they were in her.

Ooh you're braver than me, I would never let any dog of mine anywhere near a cow, even a young one. Had a couple of nasty experiences in the past with them.

These calves were so docile and neither dogs or calves were in danger, but I agree Jan, normally Missy would not get this close.

The calves were gentle and curious, adult cows would be a different matter. I love this photo of Missy and the calf, so cute!
