Lots of showers and a cold wind blowing today. Here is a splash of colour. These Rhododendrons were growing outside a cottage in the forest. The purple Rhododendrons use to grow all over the forest , having escaped from gardens, but in recent years the Forestry Commission have been trying to remove them as they are a non native species. They seem to grow well in the forest and despite their efforts they seem to be creeping back.

Fab colours! I think the rhododendrons make the cows poorly when they nibble on them!?? Hope you are well! Love from us xxx
