We went for an early walk in the Forest today, but just after we started walking , the rain came and so I was unable to take any pictures.I have just been reading Ocean and Forest Walks blog, and I was reminded of our visit to Vancouver Island in 2003, so I thought I would post some pictures and surprise Ocean when she next visits here.
We are hoping to go back to Canada later this year and although I do not know if we will get a chance to visit Vancouver Island again, I know we will vist Vancouver and the Rockies!

I am calmly going along reading about Fallow deer and then suddenly what a shock!! I fall off the chair --- all the lovely photos of my beautiful home Mary!!! What a treat to see it in your eyes from your trip in 2003. I love the Cowichan and the Butchard's Garden and the night picture of the Legislature. Your pictures are truly amazing. You will love the Rockies and I look forward to some spectacular photos of the mountains - we did the trip by train and that was unbelievable.
Ocean I thought you ight be surprised. I am getting excited about our trip this year. We will meet mattie in Vancouver, where he lives and then have a great holiday with him!
