Looking for a Second hand Ark

Well the weather doesn't improve and it is still raining. The forest is very waterlogged. We went to Pigbush this morning for a walk and at least it was dry whilst we walked. After our walk we took a drive through the Forest and found St Leonards. This was once the site of one of the biggest Tithe barns in England and was one of the four granges belonging to Beaulieu Abbey. The site is not open to the public but the ruins are easily seen from the road. there are also the ruins of a 17th century church.
We also passed by the top of Buckler Hard an 18th Century Ship Building Village that has been preserved as a maritime museum. many of the ships that made up Nelsons Fleet were built here.
