Hot Hot Hot!

Another beautiful Summers day and its really very hot. Blue skies , very little wind and sunny. We walked at Deadmans Hill this morning. We got there just as some one released to baskets of homing pigeons and saw them whirl up into the sky. The heather is just beginning to bloom and the slopes are slowly turning purple. As you walk along the track you can hear the bees humming away as they visit the flowers. There is still plenty of water in the little streams from all of last months rain, but the tracks were mostly dry and I wished I had left my wellies at home as my feet were baking!
