A Quick Stop at Alresford.

After Visiting the Nature Reserve yesterday , we had a quick stop at Alresford, for a bite to eat!Alresford is a pretty little town and we had a short wander around before we came home.
Alresford is pronounced Allsford. There are some pretty little streets and we decided to walk down to the River Alre. The Fulling Mill was built in the 13th century and straddles the river. Fulling is a process used in the textile industry and it is where the Wool is pounded to cleanse and thicken it.
