We decided to pop down to the Nature Reserve this afternoon. it was a very grey day. The wind was blowing in off the water and it was really more like November than August. We saw a few egrets , lapwings and a couple of herons but it was fairly quiet and too cold for the dragonflies and butterflies.

Looks like we got the best weather then today, blue skies and sunny all day, but still a cool northerly wind, I also thought it felt more like October though. Nice pics.
