Hi Mary, thank you for sharing your amazing bird photos. I've only ever once seen a kingfisher and that was a bright flash of blue that zipped across the river so fast I only knew what it was because someone told me. The heron catching a fish is also phenomenal. How do you do it? I'd seriously like to know.

Leigh, you just have to be very patient. We are sitting in a hide at the Reserve. I do have a 15x zoom on my camera which helps. but mostly it is just sitting waiting and hoping.
