They really are adorable. And they raise an important question for me: how could any storyteller ever think a baby swan is an UGLY duckling? I don't care what species they are, those kids are just cute, cute, cute.
Lovely family. We had two nesting Mute Swans near my house and last week I saw one of the adults was lying in the water on its side. The surviving swan is still tending to the nest. I don't know if the eggs will hatch or not. It should be any day now if they are going to.
