We had a very wet morning and then heavy showers early afternoon. Just before 5pm the sun came out and we took the dogs to Cadman's Pond. We managed to have a nice walk in the sun before the rain returned. Dockens Water had filled up and was bubbling along. Everything looked fresh and green again!

Lovely colors there--it is always pleasant to walk out after it has been rather wet to see how growth has naturally progressed in the environment around you.

I am so glad we got some rain! Our grass was turning brown in spots, and all I could think of was a long hot summer coming up.
