Minstead Church







On our way home from the reptile centre we decided to stop off at Minstead Church, it is a homely cottage-like Norman building on the site of an earlier Saxon church. It has a rare three-tier pulpit,In the churchyard there is the grave of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. (Sherlock Holmes). The Church looked rather dilapidated and much of the graveyard was overgrown. Services are still held here but the congregation is very small

i've been there, odd isn't it. has a Pew with an external doorway!

I love the first shot of the gravestones - very nice shot. Oh and I like the reptiles below - I am not a fan of the snakes though and would not get that close!
